The Middleton Center invited Cynthia Frisby, professor of strategic communications, University of Oklahoma, and professor emeritus, Missouri School of Journalism; and Joseph Cooper, J. Keith Motley Endowed Chair of Sport Leadership and Administration, University of Massachusetts Boston. The presentation was part of the special activities planned for Black History Month.
