Dr. Tammy Kernodle, author of the biography, "Mary Lou Williams: Jazz Composer, Pianist, Activist," joined the Middleton conversation series to discuss William's musical talent and activism. This conversation featured a panel discussion with Kernodle and members of the School of Music’s Concert Jazz Band. The event was co-sponsored by the School of Music.
